CONTINUING EDUCATION

1. To understand and compare different psychoanalytic approaches when examining the same psychoanalytic clinical material.
2. To apply that knowledge to one's own clinical work.

AUDIOTAPES

Personal audio taping will not be permitted. Failure to abide by this policy may result in expulsion from the conference without refund. The conference will not be professionally audio taped.

REFUND POLICY

If you must cancel your registration, a refund less $45 will be allowed up to September 6, 2002. We regret that refunds cannot be allowed after September 6.

ACCREDITATION

This program is co-sponsored by the National Institute for the Psychotherapies (NIP) of New York City and AAPI. NIP is approved by the American Psychological Association to offer continuing education credit for psychologists. NIP maintains responsibility for the program. Full attendance at the conference is required to receive 4 1/2 CE credits. Partial credits will not be awarded.

This program has been approved for 4-1/2 hours of continuing education under the auspices of the National Association for Social Work, New York State Continuing Education Recognition Program.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS

AAPI has arranged with the Metropolitan Hotel (569 Lexington Avenue at 51^st Street) to provide a limited number of rooms for our attendees at the discounted rate of $179 per night on the nights of Friday, September 27, and Saturday, September 28. To obtain this rate, reservations must be made by 5 PM Eastern Standard Time on August 28, 2002. Reservations received after this date will be accepted and the special rate honored based upon availability. Reservations can be made directly with the Metropolitan Hotel by calling (212) 752-7000 or (800) 836-6471 and identifying yourself as being with "AAPI -- The Association for Autonomous Psychoanalytic Institutes".
